All efforts by government to redistribute wealth, or to control or manage trade, are improper in a free society.

Our taxing system is a complete mess when a wealthy person can afford to hire a good tax attorney and accountant to find so many loopholes that they end up paying less taxes than their own employees. Tweaking it won't get the job done. Its time to completely rethink how our government raises revenues.

Like any addict, our government is hooked on more and more money to expand it's scope and authority. As a transition step away from the IRS we should consider the Fair Tax.
